Governance links

Members of staff at St Mary's act as Governors in several state schools. For example our Headmistress is a governor at St Bede's Inter-church School.

Aims

To be able to share best practice in Governance and expertise, and extend the links between our two schools.

Background

Following the establishment of a memorandum of understanding between the two schools our Headmistress was invited to join the board of Governors in 2015.

Impact

Sharing of practices in Governance to learn what may have the maximum impact in each school setting.

Frequency

This will be an ongoing link for the term of the position.
