Safe Drive Stay Alive Roadshow

The Year 12 students from both St Mary's Calne and Kingsbury Green Academy in Calne came together to attend a roadshow on safe driving. 

The workshop was delivered by Wiltshire Fire Brigade, Wiltshire Police and County Road Safety Unit to educate the students about their actions and possible consequences as drivers or motorcycle riders.

Aims

The aim was to educate the pupils about their actions and possible consequences as drivers or motorcycle riders.

Background

We all have a responsibility to educate young people and encourage development of a safe attitude towards driving from a young age.

Resources

A venue for the road show and willingness of the Emergency Services.

Impact

The road show traces the events leading up to a road - traffic collision and shows how the emergency services deal with the aftermath.

2 hours, single event.

We hope to make this an annual event.
