Boys' Night

In February 2016 Howell’s hosted its first Boys’ Night for Year 11 boys from local maintained schools. It was an informal evening during which boys had the opportunity to hear from and speak to 3 influential speakers from the world of sport, business and entrepreneurship. Each of the speakers presented in different areas of the Howell’s College.  Food was served in the Sports Café whilst listening to one of our sporting professionals and drinks were available all evening.

Aims

The evening aims to give boys the chance to meet inspirational entrepreneurs, sporting professionals and corporate business and give boys an insight into different career options.

Impact

As well as gaining an insight into different career options, the event helps students to develop networking, confidence and communication skills.

Pupil Involvement

Approximately 40 students will attend this event.

It is an annual event which lasts for 2 hours.
