Sponsored and hosted Aston Martin lecture

Malvern College sponsored and hosted lecture by Lead Engineer for Manufacturing from Aston Martin, on creative careers in Engineering. This was part of a community-based Festival of Innovation. Local Secondary schools were invited to attend with 120 pupils participating in the afternoon event.

Aims

Increase awareness of career opportunities for year 10-13 pupils within the car industry, as well as the broader area of Engineering.

Impact

First hand experiences gained from discussing opportunities with lead engineer and viewing latest Aston Martin vehicle to inspire interest in studying at university or apprenticeships.
