Army cadet training

Malvern College CCF is working alongside our local Army Cadet body (Hereford and Worcester ACF) to support their training by the use of the College range and also our training area  - the 9 Acre field, Firs Estate.

Aims

The aim is to allow monitored and safe access to our 25m indoor firing range so that the local cadets have the ability to practice firing the .22 rifle.

Additionally, by supporting access to the 9 Acre, the local cadets will be able to practise Fieldcraft and Patrolling exercises as well as full on blank firing Section Battle Drills, something which they are not currently able to do locally.

Impact

This initiative will help a large number of local cadets to enjoy some high quality training in specialist areas in a safe and enjoyable environment.
