Primary school lessons created and delivered by our sixth for pupils as part of their IB CAS project.

One group of our Sixth Form IB pupils delivered a series of science lessons to pupils from Malvern Wells Primary School, with an emphasis on practical work. We are hoping to expand this to one primary school per term in future years.

Aims

To excite scientific interest among primary school pupils and give them an extended opportunity of practical/experimental work. To serve as a CAS project for a group of our IB students.

Impact

The lessons have strengthened our links with the Wells Primary School and excited the interest of the pupils from the Wells in practical scientific work. They also provided our IB students with a valuable service opportunity.
