Science in a Suitcase

Our science department has developed a range of portable science resources and workbooks, in line with the requirements of our state schools partners, which are delivered on demand to primary schools to enhance their science teaching). There is no cost for this resource.

Aims

To provide the equipment and materials that allow class teachers to deliver practical science lessons within their schools.

Background

We developed this resource following a meeting with Science co-ordinators of local primary schools.

Resources

Two large suitcase containing materials, equipment and workbooks for a variety of science topics.

Pupil Involvement

Over 100 pupils from Year 4-6 per year.

Frequency

Used 6-8 times a year.
