An interactive Harry Potter experience for a group of Year 6 pupils from one of our partner state schools.

Aims

Designing and delivering an interactive Harry Potter experience for a group of Year 6 state school students.

Background

Promoting a love of reading and providing a celebration at the end of the Ilminster year. Librarians organised wand making, quizzes, horcrux hunts and other Potter related activities followed by a meal in Big School.

Resources

All resources, librarian time, venues, three-course meal, prizes and goodie bags.

Pupil Involvement

30 students from Ilminster Academy.

Frequency

Annual (in June for the last two years and ongoing).
