Chapel use for visiting schools

Offering use of the chapel to local primary school.

Aims

Offer facilities to local primary school, Portishead Primary to maintain friendly links.

Background

Portishead Primary uses the Clifton College Chapel for its annual Christmas Nativity, and with the Clifton term finished, the Chapel is available.

Resources

Facilities required are the College Chapel, the Newbolt Room for hospitality, the cloisters for refreshments, three classrooms for costume changing - ideal for their needs & purposes. Some Clifton staff are on hand to assist.

Pupil Involvement

300 Portishead adults and 150 children are on hand for this gathering which basically fills the entire morning.

Frequency

Has been running annually since 2016 and is ongoing as and when requested.
