History Conference

Millfield hosts a number of local schools for the annual History Conference. The event includes a number of leading academics who give lectures to Sixth Form pupils on various periods of history.

Aims

Promote academic learning for pupils in local schools, through the delivery of university-style lectures from notable speakers in the history field.

Resources

Use of school facilities, including the Johnson Hall, Science Lecture Theatre and classrooms.

Various staff to host and supervise the lectures.
