Universities Awareness Initiative (All Saint's Academy)
Year 12 students from All Saints' Academy attended an information morning at Cheltenham College which gave them details of the UCAS application process and tips on how to write a personal statement.
The aim of the project is to prepare A-level students for entry to university and to share best practice in UCAS applications across both schools.
The partnership came about in May 2014 as a result of discussions between the Heads of Sixth Forms at All Saints' Academy and Cheltenham College.
Cheltenham College facilities are used for the information day and teaching staff from the College run the event. No financial contribution is made for running this event.
130 College students and 30 All Saints' students, all aged 16-17, attended the event.
This information morning will be an annual event and it is expected to continue for the forseeable future.
