Southwark Schools Science Lecture

Local SSLP Schools invited to RV Jones Science Lecture: Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore – ‘The Teenage Brain’ held at Alleyn’s School.

The lecture was attended by members of the local community and complimentary tickets were offered to local state schools who are members of the Southwark Schools Learning Partnership programme for pupils aged from 11-18 years.

Aims

This prestigious annual lecture gives an opportunity to the local community to hear about topics of interest in the world of science.

Impact

Through the RV Jones Science lectures Alleyn’s hope to continue to develop community partnerships and encourage interest in various aspects of science.

Frequency

The lectures take place once a year and Alleyn’s will continue to give local schools the opportunity to attend free of charge.
