School Enrichment Project

Children aged 7 and 8 visit the residents of these residential homes and entertain them by singing, reading, reciting poetry, telling stories, chatting and having fun at Christmas.

Aims

Enrichment for others in the community.

Impact

Very successful. The elderly residents really look forward to our fortnightly visits during the autumn and summer terms.

Pupil Involvement

7 and 8 year old boys and girls. We visit in small groups of 13/14.

Frequency

Every three weeks in the autumn term to the Red House, fortnightly to Walton Heath Manor in the summer term.
