Partnership with Junior Guildhall School of Music

The Junior Guildhall runs its Kindergarten Course and String Training Porgramme using Brentwood School facilities, open to local children to follow the same courses offered at the Guildhall School in London.

Instruments taught include piano, violin, viola, cello and mini-bass. 

Aims

To give local children the same opportunities to study music programmes as in London.

Background

Junior Guildhall approached our Director of Music to establish a new partnership.

Resources

Halls, practive rooms, music facilities, instruments, no teaching staff used. No financial contribution

Pupil Involvement

Children aged 3-11, co educational. Some current pupils involved but mainly pupils not connected to the school.

Frequency

Weekly on a Saturday morning.
