Helping new Head of Department

The new Head of Department at local state school, Beckett Keys Church of England School contacted our Head of Design Technology to come and talk about some advice and guidance on the A Level specification and also on the logistical issues of running a department.

Aims

The aim was to provide advice and support to a new Head of Department, who wanted help with the A Level syllabus and the logistics of running a department. The immediate beneficiaries are the staff in the DT department at Beckett Keys, and the pupils being taught.

Background

The head of department got in touch with us. It's been established for one week.

Resources

It uses the Design Technology labs and the time of our Head of Department.

Impact

Another meeting is planned next month.
