Ogden Trust hub for physics on the Isle of Wight

Ryde Junior School is now a hub for physics on the island and in partnership with the Ogden Trust is aiming to promote and encourage physics for pupils from under-represented backgrounds.

Aims

To encourage talented physicists on the island who would otherwise be under-represented.

Background

This event was set up by the Head of Science at Ryde Junior School.

Resources

This is an ongoing project with various events and opportunities mostly staffed by the Head of Science.

Impact

This activity is in its infancy but aims to greatly improve uptake of physics in communities that would otherwise not be involved.
