Boarding Schools Partnership

Ryde School is registered with the Boarding schools partnership and now has pupils studying at the school who are on full bursaries which are partly funded by the school, partly by local authorities and partly by organisations such as Springboard. This means that children who are 'at risk' or 'looked after' can access a Ryde School education, something which may be transformative in their lives.

Resources

The school's boarding facilities and staff, as well as regular teachers are key resources in this arrangement. The school also makes a significant financial contribution towards the fees of pupils who join as part of this scheme. 

Impact

The impact is hard to measure (since the alternatives for such pupils are unknown) but potentially the opportunity being offered is life-changing.
