New teacher development initiative with KMT teacher training

King's School Rochester will be hosting five trainee teachers, for four days each week for a six-week period.

The teachers come from local schools The Malling School; Strood Academy; Brompton Academy and Thomas Aveling, and are working with our pupils from Year 7 until the upper sixth across a range of academic subjects.

Aims

To give work experience to junior teachers.

Resources

This requires classroom support from King's staff and an administrator to support all the activities.

Pupil Involvement

This involves classes of pupils from Year 7 to the upper sixth.

Frequency

This is for 24 working days each for the five trainees, working four days a week.
