Drama and theatre outreach

An adaptation of "Oh What a Lovely War" was created by a team of pupils and teachers at King's including children aged 14 to 18. The performance needed over 100 pupils working in the production, both front and backstage.

As part of this production pupils from local secondary schools were invited to join this performance either from a history perspective or to develop a passion for the arts and drama.

Over 60 youngsters watched the performance of the dress rehearsal. 

Aims

To give pupils the chance to explore the magic of working in drama.

To develop a greater understanding of the Second World War.
