Mental Health First Aid Course

KGS offers an opportunity for local primary school teachers, KGS staff and parents to gain a Youth Mental Health First Aid qualification. The session is led by two instructors, one of whom is a staff member at KGS and our head of wellbeing.

Aims

There is a need for more awareness on how to deal with young people's mental health. Giving educators and parents the tools to better support the young people in their care. The course offers insight into different strategies and where there is support form other agencies and how to access it. 

Pupil Involvement

This partnership was offered to adults in order for them to better support their students and children.
