CyberFirst Competition
We offer an opportunity to a number of local secondary schools to bring up to eight students (two teams of four) to an afternoon workshop introducing them to the CyberFirst competition, run by the National Cyber Security Centre, part of GCHQ.
Aims
The aim of this workshop is to introduce students tot he competition which they will then go and work on back at their own schools for the rest of the week.
At KGS we also believe that it is important to expose children to a wide range of careers - including STEAM which is why we had a female working in the industry come to to speak to the students during the workshop.

The session was lead by our Head of IT. He was supported by other KGS staff as well as A-level Computer Science students.
