Diana Award Anti-Bullying Ambassador Training

At the Ursuline Preparatory School we hosted the ‘Diana Award Anti-Bullying Ambassador Training’ on Friday, 6th March for a total of ten primary schools. Attendees consisted of both staff and students. The Diana Award mission is to foster, develop and inspire positive change in the lives of young people. They are proud to be the only charity set up in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales and her belief that young people have the power to change the world. It’s a big mission but there are two things within it that they focus their charity’s efforts on – young people and change.

Background

The Anti-Bullying Ambassador training empowered both the students and staff to change the attitudes, behaviours, and cultures of bullying by building skills and confidence to address different situations both on and offline. The training was delivered through The Diana Award’s renowned peer-led approach. The expert training equipped the students and staff with the tools needed to tackle bullying head on, helping our schools to transform our school’s approach to bullying and create a safe and positive environment for everyone.
