Brentwood Foodbank Collection

Our school collected items for our local foodbank. As a school community we are very aware of how important and necessary these donations are. As a school, we encourage all children and parents to bring in anything that is of benefit to the foodbank and the individuals that use them.

To ensure that the children are aware of how and why these foodbank donations are distributed, the school had an assembly; lead by our two Charity prefects, to explain why foodbanks are in existence and also the needs of our local and wider community.

Our two charity prefects were able to take the donations to the foodbank in Brentwood, along with a member of staff. The foodbank was very appreciative of our donations and we are proud that we are able to help.
