CAFOD 20p coin trail
Children throughout the school collected 20 pence pieces for our annual coin trail. A speaker from CAFOD, the official overseas aid agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, led a whole-school assembly that focused on the families oversees who would be helped by this fundraising initiative and reminded us that every 20p made a difference. CAFOD is an international development charity that reaches out to people living in poverty with practical help, whatever their religion or culture. As well as fundraising they campaign for global justice, so that every woman, man and child can live a full and dignified life.
Background
