Designated termly house charity

Clifton High School has a House Charity Committee that raises thousands of pounds every year, solely through pupil led activities.  As well as raising money through various events that take place throughout the school year, they also raise funds during a special week in the spring term. Fundraising events include tuck sales, sponge the teacher, cake sales and competitions throughout the school.

The chosen charity usually changes every term. Previous charities have included: Penny Brohn, a local charity providing cancer support; Avon Needs Trees; Southmead Hospital Charity; Children's Hospice South West; MIND; Place2B and Above and Beyond, a local charity raising funds for Bristol City Centre hospitals. We are currently raising funds for Cancer Research; Royal Papworth Hospital; The Stroke Association; and  St Mungos.

Charities such as Children in Need, Comic Relief and World Downs Syndrome Day are also supported, separately, throughout the year.
