Impact Statement

We have organised and hosted a number of drama and music events over the course of the year, these are attended by local state schools. The impact on taking these pupils into a different setting with a different core of staff who are conducting workshops is undoubtedly beneficial to all. We have hosted four events in the year, the preparation time and participation is significant, some 32 hours. But the benefit gained makes the events worthwhile.

Our swimming pool is utilised by our neighbouring primary school on a weekly basis. We provide the transport, life-guarding and coaching at cost. That we are able to allow others to use our wonderful facility is fantastic, albeit at the small cost of limiting use of the resource for our own swimming sessions. The cost does not include the 39 hours per year spent administering this.
