Year 5 Master Class Sessions

Local Primary schools and Local Prep school pupils are invited to our Masterclass sessions.

hese sessions happen at least 5 times a year every year for the following activities:

High Ropes activities

Music

Design & Technology

IT

Swimming

Aims

The aims are for pupils to experience a fun and creative morning from 10am-12pm at Bethany whilst trying out subjects or activities they may not have had much exposure to before.  

It is a great introduction for the pending transition to Secondary school and the students get to mix with other students from a wide variety of local schools.

Background

These sessions are organised by our Marketing and admissions department.

Resources

The IT Teachers create a fun and informative session engaging all those involved in the activity so they can experience it fully.

There is no charge for this event.

Impact

Various master classes occur 5 times a year.  This exposure may be the time a love of music is created or a passion for sport - a love of cooking or a flair for design and Technology. An interest in programming or a new language.

Year 5 - Boys & Girls.

Frequency

Every Year we run at least 5 Masterclasses in differing subjects. We will be continuing to offer this annually.
