Creative Education Day

The Creative Education day occurs once every year, on the last Friday in June.

Year 4 pupils are invited from local Prep and Primary schools. They choose one or two workshops from the following selection: DT, Art, Science, Sport, Drama, Dance, Music, Food & Nutrition.

Aims

The aims are for pupils to experience a fun and creative day from 10am-3pm at Bethany School whilst trying out subjects they may not have had much exposure to before.  

It is a great introduction for the pending transition to Secondary school.

Resources

We use the extensive Food and Nutrition facilities, our heated indoor pool, various apparatus within the DT department, music department and IT department.

We also use our in house High Ropes Course.

The Creative Education Day sessions are led by experienced Bethany Teachers.

Impact

The children who attend have a fun day and are able to experience subjects and have use of equipment they may not have at their school.
