Y5 and Y6 Technology Challenge Day

Teams of girls in Year 5 and Year 6 are challenged to tackle a problem-solving 'design and make' task which will involve them in thinking, planning, constructing and presenting throughout the day.

Aims

An opportunity for Year 5 and 6 girls from local junior schools to compete together to solve a real life challenge; from designing a mono-rail to a sustainable transport system.

Pupil Involvement

4 from Portsmouth High and up to 40 girls from local primary schools.

Frequency

Annually.
