Taster sessions in A Level subjects not commonly studied at GCSE

One off sessions in the summer term for Year 10 in Economics, Politics, Psychology, Philosophy and Classical Civilisation are held for pupils from our partner schools (none of which have a sixth form) to facilitate the pupils' decisions on A-levels in general and with the different subjects available and to raise aspirations to go on to study A-levels. 

Aims

Stretch the most able GCSE pupils at state schools and provide them with a genuine enrichment opportunity. Provide pupils with a feel of what it is like to study at Colfe’s and offer guidance on our sixth form scholarship programme.
