The Debating club at Colfe's has provided me with countless opportunities and skills which I would otherwise have never had, and which undoubtedly will benefit me greatly in the future. I have even had the privilege of attending a Debating competition at Eton, an experience I never would have imagined having.
Year 11 Pupil, Trinity School, Lewisham
It’s not an exaggeration to say it has changed my life. It helped me get into Cambridge and that has given me the best possible start to my future career.
Ex-Leathersellers’ Scholar
I spoke with the team yesterday and everyone would be very keen to have the students back, they have been of great support to the classes they have been working in and the teachers will be very pleased.
Executive Headteacher of Brindishe Primary Schools
All students interviewed identified how good the school LSP experience is, how much they value your teachers and the support they give, how they are stretched (in a good way) and how much the small class sizes. Great facilities, extra-curricular programme and non-elitist atmosphere allows them to settle in and learn well.
Excerpt from the Baines Cutler Report
I am sure you are aware of M’s enjoyment of the study of Latin. I was overjoyed when she decided she wanted to learn Latin. That is something I always regretted, but my school stopped teaching Latin!
Parent of Year 11 Latin student
[In extra classes and workshops] Pupils articulated that they really appreciate being exposed to different thoughts and ideas and ways of doing things. In terms of the Latin they really enjoy the fact that it is an academic pursuit but completely unrelated to anything in school, as in it is in a different environment, with different people and is not a revision class trying to bring up their grade. They also clearly enjoy the teaching style and individual attention!
