Sustainability Design Challenge - Be Inspired Year 5

In the Autumn term we offer an industry style Design Technology project for primary schools across two days.

We make an initial visit to the primary school with our Head of DT and the director of Creative Thinking Ltd to share a brief with Year 5 pupils linked to the circular economy and sustainability.

This is followed by a DT session at Leighton Park in our workshop, plus a pitch event in our Drama Studio.

Students are taken through the process of designing, making, problem solving and pitching. They are given feedback and guidence every step of the way!

Impact

Our aim is to expose KS2 students to Design Technology with a sustainability focus.
