Support for Shooting Stars

Shooting Stars is a charity that runs children's hospices in Surrey and West London (Registered Charity No: 1042495).

Ibstock has previously supported Shooting Stars by donating money from our parent association (Friends of Ibstock Place School) and Prep Carol Services (over £2000 raised for them to date). There have also been fundraising activities carried out by Ibstock pupils.  

The filming was Sunday 9 March. 

A couple of families who use Shooting Star were centre to the film, in raising awareness of what the charity does and how it supports people through dark times.

Background

Shooting Stars approached the Prep school a couple of years ago and representatives from the charity have previously been invited to talk to the Prep School pupils.

Resources

The school gave them the Theatre space and Richard Allport for a film company to come in to create a promotional film.
