Sponsorship of a new free sixth form school

Oakham School has been working together with Catmose College and Uppingham Community College to sponsor Harington School, the new Sixth Form Free School in Rutland.

As well as support from our Senior Leadership Team, Oakham has supported Harington School Science department with the development of the new A Level courses and providing the use of laboratories for Physics and Chemistry lessons. The Oakham School English department have also worked with Harington pupils, supervising English trips and inviting pupils to Oakham School to listen to a talk from an external speaker, Ben Brown. Oakham School have also been assisting students with their Medic applications for Universities. The school library is also available for a group of Harington School pupils.
