South amd East Bristol Foodbank

Each week, our sixth form students dedicate their time to supporting the important work of the Bristol South Food Bank. Their primary responsibilities include organizing and maintaining the warehouse, ensuring donated food items are properly sorted, and managing storage to keep the facility running smoothly.

In addition to these essential tasks, students also help with preparing food parcels for distribution, checking expiration dates, and ensuring the food bank operates efficiently to meet the needs of the local community. By participating in this initiative, our students gain a deeper understanding of food insecurity and develop a strong sense of empathy and social responsibility.

This partnership not only makes a meaningful impact on the community but also provides our students with valuable teamwork and organisational skills, reinforcing the importance of giving back and supporting those in need.
