Science outreach with local secondary school
Our sixth form scientists delivered an outreach STEM session 'Cluscido' at High March School in Beaconsfield. They challenged Year 5 pupils to become experts in chromatography and ciphers so that they could solve the case of the stolen brand new Bunsen burner! Who did it? Was it Miss Beaker, Prof T.H.Ermometer or perhaps Mr Gauze!! The pupils thoroughly enjoyed learning some new skills.
Aims
The aim of the day was to bring science to life using our science pupil ambassadors.
Resources
This involved our head of science.
Pupil Involvement
Year 5 Pupils from High March and sixth formers from Wychwood.
