PEACE - student-led conference

A student-led conference to allow young people from around the world to discuss issues and respond to social justice issues of migration and climate change

The event was held in the school hall, also requiring classroom space and catering. 

Impact

This was the first conference of its type, hosted by leading experts from Oxford and Cambridge University. A school from Peru also attended to reinforce th these issues being global. It is intended for this to be an annual conference. Invitations were sent to Cherwell School, Faringdon Community College, John Mason School, Cheney School, Europa School, Chipping Norton School, Gosford Hill School, Burford School, Wood Green School, Henry Box School, Fitzharry's School and Marlborough School.
