Developing confidence and competence in the laboratory. Developing strong investigative skills in science. Completing practical laboratory work to consolidate theoretical work learned elsewhere.

Impact

This is a need in the community (KS3 and KS4) that is being met by the school. The original class had six students. Last half term, 14 children were enrolled in courses - the number of students involved has doubled since the initiative was launched.

Frequency

students sign up for 5 week or 10 week courses
