British Army Band Day

A student experience day

Aims

To bring local schools together to play in a massed wind band with the British Army band. Also to raise awareness of careers available as army musicians.

Resources

The school facilities were used as the venue. Catering (army band and schools staff only), School drum kits.

 

Impact

The day gave pupils an opportunity to play with professional musicians, and together in a massed group. Concert at the end of the day for parents.
