Partnership with Parklands Community Primary School

Our Lower School has partnered with Parklands Community Primary School in Ellesmere Port and children from Queen's and Parklands have visited both sites for activities.

Queen's hosted a Year 3 Forest School session at the Lower School and our Year 3 class visited them for a ‘Bird of Prey’ Workshop.

Aims

To create a partnership with a local state primary school and share the schools resources.

Background

The Head of Lower School forged links with the Head of Parklands Community Primary School in Ellesmere Port in order to develop an established partnership.

Queen's hosted a Year 3 Forest School session at the Lower School and our Year 3 class visited them for a ‘Bird of Prey’ Workshop.

The Head is looking to further develop these links in the summer term.

1-2 members of staff to host visiting school during event or to escort children to partner school.

Impact

This is still very much a new partnership aiming to share resources and knowledge to benefit the children across both schools.

The children are also given the opportunity to develop new friendships.
