The Headmistress of the Queen’s School has been on the board of governors for Grosvenor Park Academy Primary School since January 2020.

The SENCO of the Queen’s School has been on the board of governors for Upton Westlea Primary School since December 2022.

Background

Our staff member has been Chair of Governors at Grosvenor Park School since September 2020.

Impact

There are 200 children at Grosvenor Park Academy Primary School, all of whom benefit from our staff member's input in the school’s governance. In her contributions to the governing body, our staff member helps ensure high standards of achievement for all pupils at the school. This is done by assisting in the setting of the school’s vision, ethos and strategic direction, by supporting the Head and other staff and monitoring the achievement of pupils.

 

There are 200 children at Upton Westlea Primary School. Our staff member is the SEND link governor ensuring the school benefits from his experience, knowledge and expertise. He also sits on the curriculum committee so provides oversight and input on the schools curriculum.

Frequency

Our staff member estimates that she spends 40-50 hours on the partnership with Grosvenor Park Academy Primary School over the year. 

Our staff member estimates that he will spend 50-60 hours on the partnership with Westlea Primary School over the year.
