Forest School

We have opened up our superb Forest area at the Lower School to a local nursery to use for a weekly Forest School.

Aims

To give local nursery children the opportunity to take part in Forest activities.

To promote the benefits of outdoor learning.

Background

The Head of Lower School invited the local nursery to utilise our Forest area in order to give the children the opportunity to benefit from Forest School activities.

Impact

Nursery children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to take part in Forest School activities are able to benefit from the range of vital skills this outdoor learning experience provides and develops.
