Masterclass carousel day

Linking up with our partner primary schools, this annual event provides a full day of activities for Y5 pupils.

Aims

To provide a day full of animated and interactive exploration in Science, Drama, Art/Design and Technology, and Maths.

Background

Started in July 2017, this annual event aims to stretch Y5 pupils and provide them with learning experiences that they otherwise would not have access to.

Impact

120-150 Y5 pupils with accompanying teachers from visiting schools each year.

Pupil Involvement

25 Y12 pupils from STAHS work alongside 20 staff members to plan and deliver the day, which lasts for six hours.

Frequency

Once a year each July.
