Holiday Action
Our Holiday Action club runs during every school holiday and is open to all children from Reception age up to 14 years old. Children have the opportunity to benefit from the unique facilities available at the school as well as a plethora of activities led by experienced specialist providers.
We provide 300 funded day places a year which are allocated to CV34 school children and distributed in accordance with the number of children at each school. The scheme provides children who do not have the financial means to access the club with the opportunity to take part in a wide range of extra-curricular activities that they might not otherwise have the chance to try. It also enables them to interact and play with other children in a safe and caring environment, outside of the traditional school setting.
The range of courses includes Swimming, Cricket, Art and Craft, Football, Multi-Sports, Pottery, Badminton, Cookery, Kayaking, Wall Climbing and Netball to name but a few.
During select holidays, we also run our Action Plus programme for 12- to 14-year-olds, which includes a wide range of exciting on and off-site outings and activities.
