Music in the Community

Our musicians raise funds and participate in community ventures. Examples include visits to Coten End Primary School and Ridgeway School, and welcoming residents of Priors Nursing Home to a jazz concert at the school. Our buglers continue the tradition of playing the Last Post in Warwick at Remembrance Sunday in November. Donations from concerts are made to The Dominic Community Foundation in Uganda and collections are organised in conjunction with Warwick Rotary. Our choir (which includes several pupils from other schools) sing for both the school and its wider community at our chapel services (including the Mayor’s Judiciary Service at St. Mary’s Church). Canticum, our community choir, meets every Wednesday evening and performs at major concerts.
