A GCSE Music Study Morning focusing on Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata, op.13 including 4 schools: West Kirby Grammar School; Prenton High School for Girls; Birkenhead High School Academy; Calday Grange Grammar School.

Approx. 100 pupils in total.

To assist in the appreciation of music and preparation for GCSE.

Background

A study morning is part of Birkenhead School's Festival of Music every year.

Resources

Bringing in an expert to deliver the Study Morning, utilising the Bushell Hall which has a capacity of 400.

Impact

Direct contribution to improved GCSE grade in Music.
