Deputy-Head Governance at The Willink School
The Deputy-Head of Bradfield College is a governor of The Willink Community School a local state school for 1100 students. The school Board of Governors meet on a monthly basis and the Deputy-Head attends these meetings along with the other Governors. The involvement of the Deputy-Headmaster in the governance of this local state school is to support the board of governors. The Deputy-Head is Chair of the Students, Families and Community Committee.

The Willink School are the immediate beneficiaries, with the community of Burghfield itself benefiting from improved governance of their local school.
