Dance workshop

St Gabriel's dance teacher delivers one-off workshop for pupils from a local primary school, in our high quality dance studio.

Aims

To support the Junior school curriculum requirements for dance education. To give pupils experience of dancing in a bespoke dance studio. 

Background

The dance teacher offered to deliver a dance experience to other schools, who sometimes have difficulty fitting dance into their curriculum and who often do not have a bespoke facility.

Resources

Use of St Gabriel's minibus and driver dance studio and dance specialist - free of charge.

Impact

This event contributes to the NC requirement for teaching dance in Junior schools. Pupils benefit from a dance studio experience and specialist teacher.

Single event - annually - maybe with a different school each time
