ARCh volunteers

We developed a partnership with ARCh through the Teddies Collaborates Programme. As a part of this programme, our lower sixth pupils visit local primary schools to support children who are struggling with their reading. 

Aims

Through one-to-one reading sessions, our lower sixth pupils help children improve their literacy skills and discover the excitement of reading. 

Impact

The pupils have reported the benefits from running these sessions. They gained positive experience in mentoring and community service. They really enjoy the sessions and love time with young children. 

Frequency

The sessions take place weekly.
