Academic Enrichment Day
30 Year 10 pupils from the Success for All Education Trust in Essex visited Oxford for an Academic Enrichment Day. The group started the day in the beautiful Randolph Hotel where Tommy Turner OSE, currently reading engineering at Oriel College, spoke to the pupils about what it is like to study at Oxford University. They then toured the Bodleian’s Weston Library, visiting the Sensational Books exhibition there before enjoying a tour of Wadham College. They came back to St Edward’s for lunch and an interactive afternoon with Dr Fletcher and Mrs Thomas in our science labs.
